Historic Germantown (Nashville) is an 18 square block area bounded by Jefferson Street on the south, Hume Street on the north, Rosa Parks Boulevard on the west and 3rd Avenue N on the east.
Germantown was established in the 1840s but was mostly forgotten until the 1990s when Nashville allocated incentives to restore and revitalize Nashville’s oldest neighborhood. It is now has significant residential developments, beautifully renovated bungalows, and old Victorian-style properties. It’s proximity to downtown is ideal for a quick commute.
